Global Awareness is the understanding that everyone has a culture which affects the way we view ourselves and the world. Georgia 4-H and India 4-H Youth Development Partnership

We are proud to announce the Grand Inauguration of NGI 4-H Youth Club India. On July 26th, 1500 people attended the Inaugural event that honored current members and NGI 4-H officers. Through combined efforts from Georgia 4-H, Florida 4-H and the NG International School in India, the first NGI 4-H Youth Club celebrated the start of their new program. Located in the Gujarat province, the NGI 4-H Youth Club is launching with 115 members.

Since its inception over 100 years ago, 4-H has worked to instill its motto “Learn By Doing” into every individual that has participated in its organization. Today, over 70 countries have established 4-H programs seeking to develop their youth in a positive and impactful way. Georgia 4-H and India 4-H Youth Development Partnership will work to establish a sustainable youth program that will prepare the next generation of leaders. This collaborative effort will utilize the traditional model of agricultural development through education, innovative partnerships, and positive youth development to achieve positive change among the world’s youth and the places they live.

We look forward to seeing future growth with this program and are excited to be expanding the 4-H legacy. Be sure to keep up with the NGI 4-H Youth Club by checking back here. We will be updating with news and events from our partner 4-H program. For more information about other 4-H programs outside of the United States, visit http://www.4-h.org/about/global-network/
